At the Erikson Institute, Chicago

The folks at the Erikson Institute in Chicago invited me to present our lab's research at the Promising Math conference. They put together a great meeting. On Friday night I had time to do the walk along the Chicago river all the way to Lake Michigan, and it was SO lovely . . .

The riverwalk featured little kids fishing in the river, a giant metal deer, and a beautiful city skyline. By the time I got to Lake Michigan, it was dark and I could see Navy Pier in the distance.

And of course travel would not be complete without some ninja writing in the airport.
